| About Liz AycockI am a graduate of Appalachian State University's Industrial Technology Program. I majored in Appropriate Technology and focused on Sustainable Building, Solar, Wind and Hydro technology and Sustainable Development. I enjoy sharing the information I learned in college to help educate people on the benefits of Appropriate Technologies. While in college, I also studied construction, wood working, welding, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and drafting. This basic knowledge of home building and its systems gives me an advantage in the real estate profession. I am a member of the Avery-Watauga Association of Realtors and maintain my real estate license in Tennessee. I can effectively show and sell properties in 2 states and 4 counties. I moved here to finish college in 1992 and have loved this area from day one. My husband and I are raising our two sons here and are proud to be residents of Boone. Having lived here for 15 years, I have an extensive knowledge of the entire High Country region including eastern Tennessee and Watauga Lake. If you want recommendations on the best restaurants, challenging hiking trails, the most romantic views, or other information about the area, I can offer suggestions and can find the answers to any other questions you may have. When working with Sellers, I offer superior service in marketing and advertising. I can help you price your home, get it ready for sale, and provide advice and helpful hints throughout the entire home selling process. When working with Buyers, I can help with making a successful offer and will explain in detail all of the processes involved in a real estate transaction. But more importantly, I listen to what you really want in a home, what you can afford, and will not waste your valuable time showing you properties that don't meet your criteria. I love my job and will work diligently to help you with all of your real estate needs.
